  • 1. What is a splash pad?

A: A splash pad is an area for water play that has no standing water.  The water in the system is recycled/treated water that is treated to at least the same level of quality as swimming pool water standards.  To help us in keeping our public aquatic facilities clean , we ask that swim diapers be worn at all times, those with diarrhea refrain from playing in the water, and we all do our part to NOT encourage the drinking of pool/splash pad water.
