The Des Moines River through Fort Dodge offers many recreational activities, including fishing. While fishing is an option on most of the water trails and at lakes and ponds in the area (visible here), there are also fishing jetties specifically for the purpose located south of the Kenyon Road Bridge and accessed via 9th Street Southwest.
